What we cover

Most car air-con jobs in the workshop come down to one of three things: the gas is low, there's a leak, or something electrical isn't telling the compressor to engage. All three are John's job.

• Re-gas with the correct refrigerant for your vehicle
• Leak diagnosis with UV dye and pressure testing
• Condenser, compressor, expansion valve and dryer replacement
• Electrical-fault diagnosis (clutch coils, pressure switches, ECU side)
• Cabin filter replacement and vent freshening
• Full system replacement on older vehicles
• Marine and 4WD-fitment air-con work

When to ring

If your air-con isn't as cold as last summer, ring before December. The workshop fills up fast once the temperature hits 28 and you don't want to be sitting on the waitlist.
